GOVERNANCE, GENDER AND CITIZEN PARTICIPATION
With an objective to ensure good governance and citizens engagement, YARO designed a number of activities to achieve good governance and active citizens participation.
These include:
- Promoting Transparency and Accountability in Local Governance (PROTANG), an activity which sought to increase youth participation in governance and to work with partners to ensure good governance at the local level.
- Promoting peaceful election at the district and regional levels. This project ensures that there are equal opportunities for everyone who decides to participate.
- Women Manifesto: This promotes the agenda of ensuring that issues are well captured in political discussions. This is in partnership with STAR Ghana Foundation.
